I know hope you have all been waiting for this, because I told you that I would write a post on this (read the title). I thought of this a while ago, and I’m not sure how I came up with the idea of writing about it. First, lets start with how I had the thought of this: We were in the car one day and I’m not sure how but I thought how nice it would be if I had a speeder like…
Okay, now lets go on to where I got the thought inspiration: If you have seen STARWARS Episode II you will probably know what I’m talking about- in terms of “speeder.” It might help to have seen multiple STARWARS movies because I may use some of there technology, but if I am capable of explaining things well enough then all you need to know is how to read…
Now, lets get to the real thing: This speeder that I wish I had may actually become, not invented by me probably, but if you had any type of history class and a good memory then you should know how much technology has improved and with a “future thinking brain” you realize that technology has great potential. This ship, or actually a small one referred to as speeder would have color choice, if it was on the market. Now the most important thing you need to know about this is that it flies, or sort of hovers. It can go up to 300 ft. max (doesn’t have to be 300 ft. above ground though, it could be 300 ft. above a forty-five story building)and can go up to 329 m.p.h. (though that’s not the speed limit). It can expand from its original size, and depending on what size its original size was then it can get pretty big. It has a special mechanism against crashing that is if you are going at high speeds (speeds enough to do damage, though it is pretty strong and won’t get too hurt at our danger speeds today) and you are to close to an object then it will automatically dodge out of the way with a special “force-field” type thing that senses the coming and is almost like invisible armour. Now you probably have the question, “What if it will be surrounded and can’t dodge?” Well, there is and answer to that. What will happen is it will either stop or it will just bump. The “bump” is just that the shields bang together, and the vehicle will not come in contact with anything. Now if a speeder bumps into a regular car that doesn’t have the force-field shield; unlucky car! Because the car will get damaged. After this, I don’t really know how to say more, I know there is more, but it’s just hard to think about it when I’m writing a post about it. So if you have anymore questions just leave a comment and I will either leave a comment in return or add it to this post.

Lets give you a little preview here: Coming soon to Green-Flamingo are some posts containing: one on invention of speeder, some pictures with stories, ( which will take up a lot of room and you won’t see the other posts) one on a new room, and some “homemade” reviews on some of my links. In addition to that, anything that pops up on my mind will be expressed here.

Over yesterday and today, we have done many things, being one reason why I have not posted. But don’t fret, here I am, attempting to entertain you. My writing style has changed drastically over the past few years, and the vocabulary I use. Here we are, living on Earth, and sometimes I wonder, “What is our purpose, and do we even have a purpose?” Am I supposed to invent a speeder, (post coming on that), or am I supposed to be the #1 bank robber in the United States. Or am I supposed to be known not at all, a poor candy-shop worker with a shop that gets no traffic and I can barely afford food, much less what we would call a livable house. Do you ever wonder things like that, I don’t think about that often, but every once in a while, though not like that. Now here is a question for you, ” What is your opinion on life, how do you view things?” Try to be somebody else, see how it is. Do you like it? Maybe you do, and maybe you don’t. And now I’m asking myself this question as I write this, “Why am I writing this? Why am I telling people to do this? The post was going to be about my past few days, but now it’s all different?” I don’t know, after this, even if you didn’t understand the rest, (I didn’t even get all of it when I wrote it!) understand this one thing: Go to yourself, you can find the answer, even if it takes years, and even if you had to experience the answer to your question first, you will still find out.

Guess what everybody, because of my laptop I can post everywhere I go. That still doesn’t mean that I will post everyday. But it’s a new opening in life. The only problem is, sometimes the Internet connection is a little sticky. See you later!

“Internet talk?” Abbreviation? Why do people use this? A faster way of giving someone a message? I wonder why, I can barely understand some things people say. I never use this kind of language, at least, hardly. Have you ever seen me write on a post: hi. This is Green-flamingo. R u duing well??? I don’t think you have seen me write that way and I’m not planning to start. But this question of why people use this so commonly still lurks in my mind. I understand in some cases, but one day someone at school asked, ” Could I type this poem in Internet talk?” To me that seemed weird, peculiar indeed! That is how I got the name for this other form of grammar, which I hope won’t take over the world. I don’t know if there is a real name for this, and “Internet talk” is actually something else entirely. But that’s what I’m going to call it for now. Just to get your opinion on things, here’s a little poll to let you show your answers:

I bet this is what everybody is talking about tonight, and you certainly don’t have to read my blog tonight, but here it is anyway. Today when I woke up I remembered my weird dream, which was about Christmas. And after I woke up I was surprised, like “what happened,” and then I saw my room and thought, this is the real Christmas. After that I went downstairs, and opened up what was in my stocking. It turned out that I had some very interesting presents in there, and it was the first time I received a pack of candy, besides Pez. Later after everybody shuffled down-stairs, we were opening the big presents ( the ones under the tree, not necessarily meaning they were big) and I opened mine too, first the book The Hobbit, which I had read before, but that was a library book and I wanted to own it. The next presents I opened were a little decorated box, handcrafted in India, and had something to do with Boulder, Colorado, where I lived from the summer of 2005-2006, and a Lego matching thing that my sister bought at her school-Christmas shopping. The last presents I opened are electronics, one an iPod dock and the other a Gateway laptop which I am entering my first post on right now! This Christmas I am very happy, and nobody was too severely sick, either. I hope you enjoyed your Christmas just as I did. Also, if you are a common reader of Green-Flamingo, I would enjoy reading the blogs of my viewers, so just enter a comment to show me to your sight.

To all my new viewers that I have picked up from links, welcome! Read all past posts to catch up on things. Now, as I said last night, tonight I will tell you about the Cirque du Soleil show I saw. Here it is: Yesterday we started off from the house and had our two-hour drive to New York City, where we dawdled around until the show began. When we got into the theatre, ( the WaMu theater at Madison Square Garden), I already had that magical feeling, seeing the massive set and with the ice layers. The show we saw was called Wintuk, and it was basically about a boy who wanted it to snow, of course with Cirque adding to it all their tricks. It started a scene with all these people skateboarding, and rollerblading just like in a skate park, except this ground gave you the impression of ice. The following scenes carried on with their tricks, first some about a pickpocket and cycling police, who was an interesting character because his tricks and “policemanness” combined. After that there was juggling, a person who looked like a doll, but was really an extremely flexible human. There were more, some acts are just to hard to explain. I will tell you one thing though, at the end it snowed, all over the audience! Since we were close to the stage, we caught a lot of the little paper snowflakes. This was a wonderful experience which I will treasure. I hope you all have a chance to see something like this, sometime, maybe you already have! Oh, one more thing I forgot but I know you’re wondering. Presents! Just to tell you, and to get your mind away from it I got a Indiglo watch, a Canon powershot A560 camera (I’ve been taking pictures all day with it), a mystery type book, Inkheart, and a memory card to go with the camera! From my dad I received a very bright flashlight which can be used as a weapon, and sometime soon we’re going to shop for a scientific calculator. Well, that’s about all I have to say, and again, feel free to comment on anything related to these subjects.
So, as I told you yesterday, today is my birthday, December 19th! And, if you read my previous post, I said I would be going to see Cirque du Soleil. And I did. In the morning when I woke up, I lay there in bed and thought about all my birthdays from the past, for a few years how I would come downstairs and see a on the wall the age I was turning in rope lights (for example: if I was turning 6, there would be a 6 on the wall). Also on the wall there may be a little printed poster saying something like ,”Happy Birthday Nathaniel,” with some animals by it. I thought about all the different presents I received in the past, and retrieved a small Emu called “Emu,” and Orangutan called “Chili,” from below my bed. This is all I have time for tonight, I’ll tell you about the Cirque du Soleil show tomorrow. But please, leave comments on your memories of past birthdays, even if you are 100 years old and your birthday is in July.

Here’s a little something more. I would have put it in with the last post, but that would have made it sound bad. So guess what? Tomorrow is my birthday! And we are going to Cirque du Soleil. I’ll tell you all about it demain. (“Tomorrow” in French).

Haven’t seen you in a while friends, and I’m stopping by to say hi. And tell you a little story. Here’s how it goes: On Saturday, at my dad’s house we went to a party for Divorce Care (I hope you can guess what that means. Its a program that helps people deal with divorce, adding a lot of religion into it), it was fine, hanging around with the other kids, watching movies, and having dinner and dessert (a huge selection of each). At about six, everybody was starting to slink off to their home, and we did too. Later that night, I felt a little dizzy, or I guess just not exactly myself. It did turn out later that I was sick, not a good sign to me, because I hate being sick. The next morning, after a terrible night of sleep, I found out that the power was out! Lucky lucky me! We went to church, (a new addition in my life, my dad has been going, or at least wanting to go, for three weeks now) but we weren’t aloud to go home because everybody else complained it would be too cold! So, being it at that, I went through a day of excruciating pain and anguish, until around three twenty, and fortunately the power was back on. My message to you: I hope you never have to deal with such a situation!
