Green Flamingobecause I said so

Sunday is the traditional day for link love, and so have some interesting posts I have read. This is not early link love, because for me starting early doesn’t count in blogging; finishing early does.

I have read many posts on how people competing in Blogging Idol are screwing with their stats - in other words faking them - just to win. I do believe this is true, and Jason at TUK gave me a little proof.

He wrote  post about How To Tell When Someone Is Faking It, and it shows how you can tell fake stats. I would write more about this is I could, but sleep calls. I have a few other posts I want to share with you.

So I have a few updates for you as well. Let me start with some stats’ they are pretty sad though.

Adsense - sadly I have only earned a total of $17.74 since I started, since the first few days it has really slowed down. There was only one day I earned under a dollar however, and I am very happy of that.

Technorati - I am actually trying to improve my Technorati rank, and I do not compare, but I have an authority of 27 and a rank of 267,866. Hopefully by then end of July I will be under 200,000, that is my goal. Here is the page.

Alexa - I looked at it just now and was in fact surprised to see that I have a traffic rank of 730,521. I am trying to improve this as well, and I will try to get under 600,000. Here is the page.

These ranks may not look very impressive, but I can tell they are constantly improving.

I am trying to get my ebooks published, and I am starting to think I am going to turn something into a book. Be looking out for the ebooks, some I will market various ways that do not include money, such as through contests, RSS, etc.

I am really trying to get Green Flamingo Designs off the ground, it is dying it seems. I am trying to get help so I can launch it’s services, but there is so much work to be done to make it successful I will have to put a lot into it. With Green Flamingo Designs it is not money with a few clicks or an hour of writing, but at least I am following a passion of interior designing. I do not want promotion yet until I put the services up and whip up a little more content, then I will start writing a weekly or maybe more often article of the latest in interior design, updates, or anything to do with the niche.

I haven’t seen much enthusiasm in displaying my next idea, or next website idea, so if you wish to hear I will be happy to post it as long as you hint to me you are interested.
