Out Of Juice

Posted by Nathaniel | Posted in Uncategorized | Posted on 16-07-2008

I am sorry guys, I was writing a post a but ago but it was too crappy so I stopped. I just have to say that posting every day is like homework, and you procrastinate and don’t do it till the last minute. I hate that like hell, but I just cannot always find the motivation to get things done. I am not sure what happened, I came upstairs at 10:30 to start a post, but it is now just before 12 and I am just starting this one.

I was trying to give a good quality post tonight, but I ran out of time, for that, and I don’t have the juice for much more. Hopefully tomorrow will be a more successful day where I will bring out a good post.

One thing to say – I am trying to write up some guest posts in the next few days or weeks, I have a few blogs I am trying to target with them. I will most likely repost them here a but later, or I will at least link to the site where I’m guest posting.

  1. Blogging should NEVER feel like homework. Forcing yourself to post is the main cause blogs fail, they lose the will to blog.

Just take a break for a while and hopefully you’ll come back with your full motivation :)

  2. That’s what I am going to do. I might write a post today, one actually worth it, but for 15 days I enjoyed most of the posts I did, yesterday I just didn’t want to anymore. I still want to write, so I am going to write up my guest posts(some are out of niche), work on greenflamingodesigns, maybe start some content for the mystery-site-that-no-one-seems-interested-to-hear-about. Besides that I will just chill out off the computer most of the day.

  3. great tip rajaie. Come back with a new focus on something that you are really interesting in. something that you think you could post on for 20years and still not get board.

  4. Yeah hopefully I will.I may have to change the niche yet again but maybe not.

  5. Posting every day can be very difficult! Try to be less critical of what you post if you still want to maintain that commitment. Some days you could just post links to something interesting, and write very little, for example. Or you could have fun and post in different, even silly, ways. But I agree with Rajaie in that blogging should be fun!

  6. @ Karen – yes I agree! I am looking to do some short posts, and I am looking for guest posters.

  7. Make sure if you are writing buest posts and bringing in a lot of traffic that you have an incredible front page to attract them to. I write a financial blog and I always want my best posts on the top of the pages as long as possible.
I am a new reader to your blog so I am looking forward to what you have in store for the future

  8. @ Ryan McLean – it is very important, especially for a traffic rush, to have the very best posts on top for new visitors to read. I am only going to write the posts, and I will publish them once I start up with some killer content on green-flaming again.

  9. Do not worry friend. I advice you take some rest. Do not think about your blog for sometime and things will get right. Well I would like to invite to guest post on my blog if you wish to. Just email me if you wish to.

  10. Ryan Mclean – also you found me through TUK right? I hope you like it here and sorry I didn’t have a fabulosa post to start you off with.

  11. Thanks Agent 001, I would like to guest post on your blog. Also, if you wan to guest post here. I am looking for a few guest posters for the next few days.

  12. @ Nathaniel: I am currently very busy. I am going back to college. I have to do admission work and attend classes. I can do a guest post only after 10 days. Do remind me then. I really sometime forget.

  13. @ Agent 001 – ok that’s fine if you can’t guest post right away. I am managing to work it out anyway but still may have a few guest posts in the next few days.
