@Agent 001 - Actually I have to disagree. This time that is not the case. This time I want to blog, just then it seemed nothing was happening. Before I have been bored of blogging, but fortunately this time I just wanted to do more, even though it couldn't be done right then.

@ Karen - thank you for your thoughts and ideas. True, it does feel like something is missing, and yes, I do just have to wait sometimes for something to come back to what I do. And about everyone working toward one common goal, that seems like what blogging is, because really all the other bloggers are your friends and they help you, and they all work towards the same goal.
Also, believe or not, today I discovered a new project to work on, and I also was able to find some more of the action I was looking for.

A broken country from people not buying? I hope not! We've been told for a long time that it's our job (and sometimes our duty, as our last President told us after 9/11) to buy things. Um ... it is? Have a look at The Story of Stuff (http://www.storyofstuff.com) to get an idea of what has happened.

Yes, things will change. Yes, it may not be pretty for awhile. Yes, people will be affected. But our idea of what success is is only part of the picture ... it's not just having a lot of money and buying stuff. What about happy people all working together on some common goal? Isn't that also success?

You are likely feeling and reacting to the energy that's around you. We all do that to some degree, some more than others. I believe it's good to be sensitive toward the energy of others.

You might think about what it is you feel is missing from your blogging community. Is it a feeling of movement? Of excitement? Of exchange? And then think of new ways you can have those things.

Good luck! Things *will* change!
