In Dallas!

Posted by Nathaniel | Posted in Travels, Uncategorized | Posted on 10-08-2008

I am in a sticky situation for blogging now, for I am in Dallas. I did warn a few days ago that I might go to Dallas, but I was not 100% sure.

I don’t really wan to go into how I am so sorry I am not blogging, though I am, but I think it is worse for me than my readers.

I do have computer access, but not 24/7 like usual! I could have brought my computer along, but I couldn’t find the “computer bag” to carry it, but that’s ok.

If you want the story, airport/and/or/Dallas experience I can relay it to you, I still have a “travel” category, though travel is not the niche of this blog.

Online I am doing well, at least I think, as long as readers do not completely disappear. I do have some updates for you, pretty exciting, things I am looking forward to and happenings.

-I won a free 125×125 ad on TUK, because I was in the first three comments, but I did not give the ad right away (I was flying) and so I may have lost it. That is a disappointment, and when I saw that he might have given them away again I was dismayed.

-Green Flamingo Designs has been hitting around 60 uniques a day, due to search on images. I am trying to take advantage of the traffic, hopefully I can fully set things up so that I will have great sales.

-Corey of Diligent Design is creating a custom wordpress theme for me, which will be used on Green Flamingo Designs. I am really loving how it is turning out, a really great job is being done! I could reveal some of the features, even the URL of the test site itself, but I have some other updates planned for it, and when you visit in maybe a week I want it to blow you away!

Those are the updates, and besides those, I am having a great time!

See you guys soon!

Rain With A Story

Posted by Nathaniel | Posted in Travels, Uncategorized | Posted on 08-03-2008

It’s pouring here in this suckish land of Pennsylvania. In states near us I think they have snow. Either one is ok, but it has been raining all day. And 6 inches of snow is much more exciting in my point of view than 6 inches of rain. I sometimes look at the ‘map tracker’ where I can see where my visitors are from. All over the world. I’d have to say the most common visitors I get are from Australia, Indonesia, India, or the United States. Not to say there are no visits from somewhere in Europe though. (I’m thinking mostly of the Netherlands) So this inspired me to write a travel story, and since it’s raining I’d like to tell one with rain, and thinking back I don’t recall a visit with rough rain. Except one. But the objection I have to that is that it’s only about an hour-two hours away. I can of course recall times in Ireland or France when it was raining, but not pouring. I’ll tell the story anyway.

I was 3 I think when we went to King of Prussia mall. Our main purpose was to get a (musical) keyboard. I was led into the F.A.O. Schwarz section, and my parents thought it was time for me to get a bear. Not a small teddy bear but a big bear. It was thought that I was going to get deep brown one but I just went to a white one’s lap and sat down. That was the one. I was thinking, “Decided. Good. Smoothie time. I can get my face all dirty. Me like da smoothie!” When we got to the smoothie/cafeteria section, had some food andsmoothies, we heard a loud clap of thunder and the lights went out. “Me scared. Me hear BOOM! BOOM! I don’t like!” Then we knew it was time to leave. Now or never. If we didn’t go soon, 1.) the mall was closing I think, and 2.) we would be caught in pouring rain. As we walked out to the car with all our things, it was already pouring. I clutched to my new found friend big bear. We dashed. the keyboard (musical) took a little longer to load into our wonderful Jaguar, but I was already safe in the car. On the way home It was dark, windy, and with pouring rain. I held to bear tight. All that is just as it is now, though I am not holding bear. I do have him though, but he looks MUCHHH different. That was the story. Stay in touch for the next post coming soon!

I am not positive that this all happened. I did say I was 3

May Start A “Travel Log”

Posted by Nathaniel | Posted in Travels | Posted on 28-02-2008

I may start a new category of travel. I was thinking, as I have been many places I would tell of one of my trips from time to time. It would also give you an exciting adventure and would stretch my memory a bit. I will tell the key-points only, of what happened I mean. I won’t say, “And then tha night like a few times before, we ate in a little restaurant in Helsinki (Finland), where I could navigate us to from most locations in the city. There was drawing there, and when we came back the second time I think one or two of the drawings we had made while waiting for dinner was posted on the show board. I usually had pasta with pineapple on it (Actually quite good!).” Well, I might say that because that was a nice story. But what I really mean is that I wouldn’t tell every detail as “I got my shoes on and departed.” But if this idea turns out successfully it would be very nice. So I will create a new category right now, “poof!” (That isn’t a very creative name)

  ~~~A day later I am writing this very last bit. I am sorry it is so late since I have last posted. I meant to post this last night but there was a problem with this that I didn’t know how to fix so I abandoned it.~~~
