Day 2 of Washington:

I am now getting a hold of the normal time here, and I am adjusting better to the day. We have been outside a lot from the evening yesterday and today which helped me from the lighting and the feel it has.

The Wii is quite a fun video game! And you can actually get some exercise from it too, especially in tennis. I guess since in some the the games that you are performing real life activities you are inspired to carry out the full motion of your body, even though the wii remote probably would activate with a flick of the wrist.

There is a fair amount of diversity in Bellingham, and in this part of the country, and the close parts of Canada too like in Vancouver. At the oriental food store we got a lot of Chinese “junk food” though I guess to me because it is different I don’t notice and it tastes very good.

We took another walk today along the Unuburban trail and did some running and jogging too.

Day 1 of Washington today:

Woke at 4:30 am eastern time, and boarded a 7:45 flight out of Newark on Alaskan Airlines. I arrived at 11:45 local pacific time – a six hour flight, long for cross country.

After a quick stop for food at North Gate mall, we drove into Fairhaven, part of Bellingham. The view was great there, along the bike trails and by the beach, and the little boardwalk.

Now I am taking time to rest and recuperate from my flight, we’ll see what goes on tomorrow!

Well I am heading to Seattle on Sunday, hopefully the weather will be nice there for the week ahead, but I have heard currently it is not looking so good. I am still working together the kinks of this site, fixing the ads and rss of course. With no internet it can be hard too, my internet keeps disappearing except in the morning and at night. But hopefully everything will be in order on Green Flamingo for Sunday and I can start the line of posts on the traveling.

After a couple of outtakes, I think I have found the right shot to fit Green-Flamingo. I will blog about travel, cars, transportation, opinions, experiences, and a few posts about my blogging (like this one). I want to include a bit more, like posts with pictures, lots of polls, and posts more or less live, or atleast they will be written same day as published and the event goes on.  Enjoy!

Well, here I am again, trying to make a comeback? Not exactly, but I still want to keep a few people updated. I took a break, over the entire month of May you could say, but it feels almost longer, like all spring I have not written. I needed a break too, it was just too stressful to try to keep working, but when I would read my emails coming in from blogging resources I did not even have time to pay attention to some of those, so I pretty much dropped out of blogging.

I am like an ex-spy or agent, who must get back into the business, but so many new things have happened, new technology, new resources, new people, everything would be unfamiliar, and the only thing still good are the skills, hopefully not outdated. So by no means am I going to try to make this blog up and running again, but I am still going to try to carry out plans with green flamingo designs. I will try to keep everyone posted, and see what I can do about this blog, but I think I have run out of content for the blogging tips niche, because I have not beeen around to find new tips, so I cannot possibly pass them on to others.

I will still keep myself updated on new blogging tools, so I can use in other niches I pursue, and hopefully they will come in handy.

For now I’m back, but maybe not forever.

Well over these few weeks in April I guess I took a break from blogging, it was what I need really. Since last summer I have not been able to keep a multiple month stream up, though I did keep the site running alright from mid January until the beginning of April. Anyway, I have been busy offline, outside a lot in good weather, and also staying late with track, and when I’m online I just don’t have the time to be on the blog all the time.

Anyway, I was waiting to be inspired to start up again, knowing it would come, and I guess tonight listening to some beatles music I have not visited for a while sparked my mind to write here. About this blog, I think I may continue with a few posts once in a while, but as I stated a few weeks ago I want to work more on other niches like the interior design niche, for I have a good domain, and I just need to do some research, then I can start posting (I do have to find a good theme too).

I also want to keep up with the rest of the blogging world, so I will continue to read and comment on your blogs as much as I can for I enjoy helping everyone out and seeing what they’re up to.

I have some bad news guys. Yesterday I was saying I did not have time for the blog anymore, and I was going to move on to other websites. Well I have started that process, but I think I might get the best deal from green flamingo now, rather than wait until later.

I remeber a few months ago I was asked to sell it for $50, not because that was the value but because that was all they were spending. I hope I can make it higher, and get some good starting money off of it.

Why am I Selling?

Well, so many other bloggers that I knew have sold their blogs, and I just don’t think it is worth it anymore. I know there are a lot of nee blogs out there, but it is time to leave the niche.

And also, I still don’t have enough time, so I have to quit.

Anyway, I will see you guys around on any new sites I make, and I will try to stay in touch.

A few weeks ago I was excited to develop this blog further, but I do not see much improvement in it. Basically I just maintain it but I have no revenue, but I do have networking with many others, and I guess that is what I hold on to. But I have also decided I have to move on a little and develop some new projects.

I am going to redo my interior design site, and see if I can get it well developed. Once I find a decent theme I can easily have a header and logo done and then get to content. I will also be conducting some research on materials and procedures of some newer and eco-friendly design styles.

I am also thinking about turning another domain I own into a forum, along with the main website. On the forum it will talk about different products, people can review them and chat about their experiences. I may have to add a little more, depends on how people join in. If that is not situated though within a month of starting time I may have to hold off and focus just on the design site.

As for green-flamingo, I will continue to maintain it as best I can, though now I am not aiming to post every day, but it might be 1-3 times a week, depending on content and how much time I have really. Guest posts will be excepted, for any of those who like to brand themselves, the site has PR2 and you would get good promotion from it. I can still try to get a little more going here, but the problem is content, it seems it has been washed out of blogging.

If you do spot any themes ok for interior design let me know, something sleek, and that everything works, or has good features etc. Color schemes could be green, red, orange, etc, preferrably green, or a lighter neutral, but anyway just be on the lookout.

That is pretty much all I have to say, and questions or comments I am still right here and I’ll be available if you need any help too.

Green Flamingo is still getting better, and is moving along in the direction I want it to. I promised a little update before we got into niche blogging, and this is it.

This month of March I have done better posting on a regular basis, though I only really have time on weekends I still hope to improve that.

If any one is an old visitor from the summer, you will notice I have my old RedWhite theme back. I still like the theme and think it fits the blog, though I may end up changing it again f I find one better. It is just good to use this one for now because it has already been tweaked and optimized for the blog, and at this stage I do not have time to optimize many new themes.

Apparently there was a pagerank update not too long ago, and I gained pagerank. Sadly last month I dropped to PR1, but now I am back at PR2 and I hope to continue on my way back to PR3.

More blogs seem to be going away, or at least of the ones I read. Big Ben Patton’s Place is not discontinued, but it is now Real Blogging Tips and Ben no longer posts there. It is run by Forest Parks, who actually did the design for Ben’s site, so because he is “local” it is not so bad. Ironblogger is going up for auction now, which is sad to me because it was doing really well with a killer title and  a great theme. Even though new blogs are starting up, these ones that I read are not going on. They seem to be the ones from Blog Premiere, and some old friends from The University Kid, when we all clanned together to make TUK big and start up Blog Premiere as one of the hottest blogging forums.

About Big Ben Patton’s or Real Blogging Tips, I put in a guest post there, it is not publiushed yet and will not be for a few days but you can stay tuned.

That is pretty much all I have for the update, I guess I’ll be back soon with something on niche blogging.

I am sure you have read up a little bit about the different niches, and what they, how hard they are etc, and here on Green Flamingo I think it is time that I write a little about that. Over the next few days I will be working on a few niche blogging posts, and some weekly updates.

Also I am doing a guest post, I’ll let you know when it’s published. Sorry I could not do more, kind of held up on othet things, but I’ll be back soon.
