Last night I had a post in mind for very early this morning, unfortunately that did not work out, because I forgot. I might remember later, I almost did, but not quite.

Even though it was an idea for a great post, I think I might have to shift the focus of this blog once more anyway. I am trying to provide quality articles that really help you out or show you something, but today Jason made me notice that I am not always unique in content, because 50 million other bloggers are giving the same information.

I could go with more of an opinion on things for my posts, but it still uses the same topic and that can be very boring. I am trying to find an actual “niche” for this blog, I may stick it onto young entrepreneur and Internet marketing while I blog about blogging, but not about “blogging tips.” I think I have some ideas, I will continue later.

I do not need to list all the upcoming things I might have yet, I am going to have a post encouraging suggestions, though I do highly encourage suggestions on this post as well.

I also want to announce the winner of the review, the first of many I hope, and this weeks winner is…Big Ben Patton of Big Ben Patton’s Place! Look for the review tomorrow!

Also, today I spent a lot of time working on my new site, loking for themes and tweaking them, helping the author to write articles, things like that. See you later!

How I am Rolling

I have decided to change what I do and how this blog runs a bit. I am just going to write what comes to me, and it may not be in the make money online niche. The only reason I joined the MMO niche was to gain more acceptance from the other MMO bloggers and social networking places. To back up this decision, I received some very good advice - that helped change the way things roll here.

Try writing for yourself, to please yourself for awhile and forget the stats.  If you aren’t pleasing yourself you aren’t pleasing your readers.  And no more apologies about not posting!!!  As far as your readers know you could be off on some super-secret mission.  No apologies, just post more if you feel bad about not posting.  Also don’t write about your lack of readers.  And proof your posts more…sometime spellcheck doesn’t catch everything.

Some of your strongest posts have been your reviews.  When you write about yourself it’s good too (use more paragraphing though).  And I heard that Twitter is a good way to build a blog following, but I don’t know how exactly.

Just read a LOT of blogs.  5-10 new ones every day.  Comment there with something funny or insightful or helpful, and then be sure you have great posts up on your blog for them to see when they check back.  I don’t know another way.  But it always does start with good writing, so please yourself with that.

So I thank Karen, from LightSpring Transformations, who is guiding you to your inner light. I am just going to blog and write how I want to, with the niche of new and helpful things, reviews, and so on. Those are where my best posts fall in, and the MMO will not be lost, but it won’t be the only niche that Green Flamingo is in. I will start of this new way with creating a new category called daily ramblings and post one there.

Big Changes

Time for another change. As always when thinking about a change, especially in furniture, furnishings, houses, and so on, I have millions of ideas. And saying that gave me an idea! I could sell my counselling to people that need ideas with their home. But I won’t get into that now. But it may help me get on the express. So with the change, it’s more than just change of housing and furniture. It might be a big change.

One thing that is on my mind and is sad to me, is that Grandpa was diagnosed with leukemia cancer. He will be able to be treated but there is no cure for it. Anyone who has it will die from it at some point. He may live for a few months or a few years. No one knows. But I was hoping he would be able to stay in this world longer to teach us more things. It would have been nice to know that he was going to be around for a long time without being sick. He has thought about dying I’m sure, but was surprised with this outcome, but he accepts it.

Another change that’s not just how my house looks is that in a few  months (June if it happens) my mom may be moving. This would be to help with work, to do channelling. This is OK, but we would live with our dad all of the time. hat would be OK too, but there are still setbacks.

The whole idea of us living with our dad for maybe six months is what sparked these ideas. I now have ideas for throwing away and selling stuff, and I am even going to look on realtor.com or craigslist for a house. I have some ideas, but we may not even be moving. That’s the basic change, just trying to think of a way to make money, but I think I almost have one nailed. Are those kind of ideas special? Would you pay for me to give suggestions out to make your home a better place? It’s a thought. Who knows what’s around the corner.

Recreation of my room

I decided long ago if you remember, that I was going to change my room. (If you want to see this previous post, search it. Sorry the search is messed up. I don’t know how to fix it. But if any techno knows how and is willing to tell me, I’d appreciate that. ) And, though I haven’t posted about it, I have changed my room, but I’m pretty sure there’s still more to come.

So far I have changed my bed, and sheets, going from having a high bed with blue-color sheets to a low bed (actually no bed at all, but I am pleased with  the height) with red, cinnamon/orange sheets and brown pillow cases. (To keep your misunderstanding of my non detailed explanations pictures will be coming soon, just hang around). I have turned my bookshelf into a library that hardly ever gets used, with every book in a section also in alphabetical order. (Marvelous, aren’t I!). Some other things have changed too, due to the placing of my bed, and I’m still trying to perfect the new look. Personally, though I could have a “room fashion designer” come in and rid of my old stuff, and get me new stuff, I much better prefer the idea of doing it myself.

There are of course things that can’t be done at the moment, but f we could magically replace all the junk we know we don’t need or really want, with the things that arewanted or needed. Come to think of it, all the junk we know we don’t need could be replaced with money, and whoever had the most junk would raise the most money. Too bad that isn’t true. That I could just  do that. I would raise a lot of money off my junk. Boo-hoo. Any way, have to go get back to cleaning, organizing, and taking pictures.
